CONVERSION WARRANTY Transit Engineering Pty Ltd warrant the conversion and the components of conversion for 50,000kms. Transit Engineering Pty Ltd will at its option repair, replace or adjust free of charge at the premises of the servicing dealer (appointed by the 6 x 2 Transit-Hordern Marketing Company) any part of the conversion which it finds to be defective in factory materials or workmanship under normal use and operation in Australia, provided that:-
Tyres, tubes, brake pads, discs and other components that are subject to wear and tear are not covered by warranty. This warranty covers only the repair, replacement or adjustment of those parts of the vehicle which are found to be defective in factory materials or workmanship during the stipulated warranty period. No other claim for compensation of whatever nature, notwithstanding that the same may have resulted from, or have arisen as a consequence of a defect in factory materials or workmanship in the vehicle, or in any part of the vehicle, will be recognised under the 6 x 2 Transit-Hordern Warranty. Prior to
any dealer commencing warranty work - approval via an authority number

9433, Fax (03) 9720 5465. Body fitment, L.P.G. tank fitment or the like are not covered under this warranty and any failure of components caused by their fitment is not covered by this warranty agreement. Overloading of the vehicle, using the vehicle on unsuitable terrain, other improper use or operation will result in rejection of claims and warranty becoming null and void. Body size, type, operation must be approved by Transit Engineering for warranty to remain in force. Damage of components or parts due to collisions (accidents) are not covered by this warranty. Note: For warranty on all components, other than those supplied and fitted or modified by Transit Engineering Pty Ltd, consult your Ford Dealer. This warranty does not deprive the owner of any of those rights and remedies which are conferred upon consumers by the Trade Practices Act 1974. |
